This shell was perfectly created by nature. The oyster shell is polished to a very nice shine and meticulously hand-painted. Small feet are attached to the bottom of the shell for stability. 

A well-known local Charleston artist has teamed up with South Carolinas Natural Resources Agency for oyster restoration and enhancement program to help with the local oyster supply. For every oyster shell sold, 10 are restored to the waters, which would otherwise be going to the landfill. These gorgeous little shells can be used for a jewelry dish on your end table or anything you can think of! So many uses in your home!
