Hand poured and hand-painted, these beauties are meant to resemble the ocean and the coastal waterways of Charleston, South Carolina. With a touch of gold and a protective gloss, the oyster shell is polished to a very nice shine and meticulously hand-painted. Small feet are attached to the bottom of the shell for stability. Use as a teabag holder, a jewelry dish on the nightstand for your rings, soap dish, or salt and & pepper! There are so many uses for these shells.

A well-known local Charleston artist has teamed up with SCDNR’s oyster restoration and enhancement program to help with the local oyster supply. For every oyster shell sold, 10 are restored to the waters, which would otherwise be going to the landfill. These make a perfect and unique gift! 

 Oyster shell sizes can vary. Shells are sold without jewelry or other items used for photography.

 The dimensions of the Ocean Painted Oyster shell dish are approximately 3.5” by 2.5”, weight: 3.04 oz.  The Extra Large Ocean Painted Oyster Jewelry Dishes measure approximately 6” by 2.5”, weight: 8.96 oz, and every gilded oyster is a one-of-a-kind.
